Editing Packages
All prices are in US Dollars.

All payments are taken through WIX Payments with Stripe. You can use all your usual payment cards, and there is a set transaction fee of 3.7%. This fee has not been built into the KLS fees and will be added to your fee total. If you are an NZ resident or want to pay in Euros, you may be able to pay by direct bank transfer with no transaction fees.

A late payment fee of $50 will be added for every seven days payments are late.

Please note if English is not your first language or your writing requires a considerably heavy edit there may be extra charges for editing.
TURNAROUND TIMES
The turnaround time for each literary service is generally two weeks, depending on which service you book and your word count. Extra time may be needed for manuscripts longer than 100,000 words. Some services, such as graphics packages, may have shorter turnaround times. Package services with multiple layers of editing/proofing and graphics/formatting have an overall longer turnaround time. The spacing of services included in our packages and turnaround times will be discussed and set in your Literary Services Agreement. If revisions are allowed, these will be agreed upon before confirming each piece of work and clearly stated in your Literary Services Agreement.
RUSH FEE
If you need your work turned around quicker than the standard turnaround times, a minimum 10% rush fee will be added to your invoice. Rush fees are calculated on a case-by-case basis. If the rush fee is less than $55, a flat rate of $55 will be charged. Please discuss the deadline you are working toward with us at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and inform you of your project's rush fee before any work begins.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
If you refer a new author to KLS and they book and complete any of our services, you will receive a free Facebook or Instagram Graphics Package. See our Graphics Packages page for details. There is no limit to how many times you can receive the referral bonus. If you keep referring new clients, you can continue to earn the referral bonus.
