Kat lives in New Zealand now but is a transplant from the UK. She’s been in NZ since 2005 and has made it her home. As a child, she hated reading, but as an adult, she’s fallen in love with all things books. In all their beautiful forms, hardbacks, paperbacks, ebooks, and audiobooks, she loves them all! She’s a detail-oriented person with a brain that just won’t turn off when it comes to spotting mistakes. You can expect high standards and great communication from her. Like everyone on the KLS team, she’s here to support you on your writing journey. Let the team get your book ready for your readers.

Steph relocated to Washington D.C. from Nothern California, where she grew up and raised her two children. Reading has been a passion of hers since childhood, and she doesn’t see that ever changing. Several years ago, she discovered this amazing indie author community, and now she considers it her second home. She has met and worked with so many talented authors and looks forward to meeting and helping even more. With strong attention to detail, a sharp editing eye, and zero triggers, she’s here to assist you however she can.

Vanessa lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her husband and two daughters. She has been an avid reader for as long as she can remember, and she enjoys reading romance, women’s fiction, mystery/thrillers, and historical fiction. Romance is her favorite though! Before becoming an editor/proofreader, she was an elementary school teacher. As much as she misses her students, she’s found a passion in working with authors, and she’s so happy to be a part of the team to help make your book a success. When she isn’t editing or proofreading, she’s working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the KLS machine works like clockwork, assisting Kat with all the administrative tasks.
Louise Murphy

Louise lives near London, England, with her husband, three children, and dog. She has been a bookworm and a lover of all things print for as long as she can remember. She has a fascination for the written word and a natural eye for even the tiniest details in a text. Her children even refer to her as “the grammar police!” Having spent twenty years as a primary school teacher, she was ready for a change, and after completing an officially recognised training course, she ventured into proofreading, a skill that comes naturally to her and that she really enjoys. In her spare time, Louise enjoys baking, long dog walks in the forest, and spending days with her family.
Kara Merideth

Kara, a native Massachusettsan, currently resides in rural Arkansas with her husband, five of her eleven children, six cats, and three dogs. She is a retired Air Force intelligence officer and has been an avid reader of romance and thrillers since she was way too young. She loves to read on her Kindle but hordes physical copies of her favorites like a dragon. Motorcycle club romances are probably her go-to read, containing found family themes she misses since retiring from the military, but she loves them all: from sports to contemporary to alien and everything in between. Kara really loves helping authors and has been told she has a fantastic instinct for what’s missing in a story. She looks forward to supporting you.
